Looking for something to do in the summer...?

If you fancy the idea of spending some time in another country, why not think about doing some seasonal work? It's a great way of seeing different countries, getting to know different cultures. If you are keen to pass your summer days in the Mediterranean sun, making new friends and brushing up on your language skills then why not think about going to work on a campsite?

French words in Scots

This week in school there is much interest in Scotland, Our People and in the Scots language.  But did you know that there are lots of words in Scots that were originally French words?  For example the traditional cry in Edinburgh when buckets of water ( and worse) were thrown from windows was 'gardyloo'.


Happy Christmas!

As we look forward to Christmas festivities on the 25th of December both here in Scotland and in France, there are people from some countries who will be celebrating Christmas a day ahead of us.  And this happens in countries not far from Scotland.
