Mr Forrest
After a long spell in the suspended timetable international wilderness, my late call up to this year's Paris trip with the new S2 meant I was probably as excited as anyone when we left Portobello a couple of weeks ago. This is probably an appropriate point to apologise for the delay in getting my thoughts blogged but when you read about how busy our schedule was, I'm sure you'll appreciate that a week of recovery time was well-needed.

Mrs Breingan
Feeling bored and not sure what to do this weekend? Why not head into town for this free cultural event about Spain? It is being held on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th July on The Mound and is being organised by the Spanish Tourist Office. It promises to be an exciting cultural event with a chance to try food from all over Spain, including Scotland's largest paella being cooked on site! There will also be music, dance and a chance to win some exciting trips to Spain. They might not be able to organise Spanish sunshine but it will be a chance to soak up a wee bit of Spain so why not give it a try! |

Ms Forrest
Roughly eighty pupils are currently having a fantastic time on trips to Barcelona and Paris. Mrs Breingan who organised the Barca trip and Miss Gendreau, the group leader of the Paris trip will be keeping us updated via the blog! Keep reading to check for updates! Hopefully some of the pupils may have the opportunity to blog too - that is if they can stand being dragged away from the fun!
If any parent wishes to leave a message for their child on the blog, they can do so by clicking on the contact us link at the top of the page. Please say who your child is when contacting us.
Please also state which trip your child is on. |
